This Pisco is a fine Brandy distilled from QUEBRANTA grapes (Vitis Vinifera, a Muscat) brought to Perú by the Spaniards in the 16 th Century. Off-dry, ripe and buttery with lots of cloves, nuitmeg and terroir flavors that lengthen nicely on the finish. Our vineyards and distillery ar located at desert fertile soils at the Ica valley, Perú. Destemmed, pneumatically pressed, fermented in low temperature stainless steel tanks as a white wine. Distilled in a Charentese (Fr,) all copper still (alambic). Offers a voluptuous, multilayered aroma of ripe fruit with a hint of wood. Smooth to the palate and firm. Waves of aftertastes reveal new flavors and incredibly rich texture for such a one year old spirit. Has a definite presence of a wine spirit. Jumps out of the glass as a warming up appetizer by itself, on the rocks, frozen shot with drops of our a twist of lemon. Excels in signature cocktails, Pisco Sour. A great toddy mate. |
