Born Peruvian, worked most of his life as Finance Executive and Banker, at I.T.T., Xerox, U.S.A.I.D. Retired as C.F.O. of the Southern Perú Copper Corporation. Has traveled extensively around the world. A wine and wine distillates lover and enthusiast, traveled repeatedly through Bordeaux, Medoc, Paulliac, Napa and Sonoma, Australia and Asia.

His passion for PISCO, materialized in 2002 when he made his first bottles. Extensive research into processing of Wine Distillates, brought him to Cognac on various occasions, where he bought the 2000 liter Still and was trained on its secrets.

Advised by senior Pisco oenologists built a distillery in 2003, starting production the following year’s harvest. Full of enthusiasm and thrust, never stops researching and experimenting better ways of making a boutique pisco under Peruvian norms, for the enjoyment of our loyal customers.
